after just a 2 hour flight we arrived at Girona! A 30 min taxi ride later through the narrow streets and we arrive at Hotel Historic www.hotelhistoric.com.

after unpacking we headed out. Girona is a beautiful city with loads of little steep lanes. Our location is perfect right in the heart of the city, with the Cathedral visable from the bedroom window and the ringing on the bells ever quater of the hour punctuating the silence.

weather is a lovely 23 degrees and sunny, making a nice change from the freezing temps at home.

ate at the irish bar, were the guy behind the bar was english, so no need to practice my poor spanish. Andrea had chicken curry and I have Irish Stew, so the delights of local cusine will have to wait another day!
